ANNIVERSARY Jecs
As we have seen our parish youth group Jecs today is your birthday, today we are 5 years of being in the divine child, also starting from earlier in the expiatory church, and now is in three churches Jecs diferesntes (expiatory church, Church of Divine Child, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish), but what is sought, the objective itself is to reach more comuinidades for younger to know and love God through other young people. Jecs is a great team of young comprometiodos with God and for God, working always together and support each other as a set of candles, that if one is off, then that of the back on Matthew 5, 13-16. because God has sent us to serve and help others, has sent us to be servants of life, to become fishers of men Mt 4, 18-22.
Jecs started with a project for a seminarian to form a youth group according to the needs of the community, asking for support from people with experience of a youth group called rainbow already has a few years. This project began in colonies a bit difficult in the city Hermosillo Sonora, some of these colonies was the contry club, Rinconada, May 5, colossus, Blacks Glen, among others, so they were not well received at first, but gradually they were finding the confidence to make a meeting in that community.
Jecs started with the idea that a group of young would be made by young people to make it more attractive to them, placing the age range between 14 and 18 years to live a meeting, but beyond this age there is no problem attend general meetings. formed the name and its meaning, which is Jecs: Evangelical Catholic Youth Apostolate Service, and giving such importance to youth, service and ministry at characterized. that characterizes the color is red, so that the letters are red, which means the blood that Jesus shed to save us all from sin. And the symbol that identifies the group is a huellita (usually used as the logo of the group) that is red on the above and means that we must trace, ie, that all our work will serve to someone else or those who come in, but always without expecting anything in return. cord as the group ID is red with a small wooden cross to the meeting because they lived at that time joined the group and commitment to serve in life, and when it is a meeting server to change the wooden cross by a metal cross, but yet the cord is still red, but this cross is heavier and a little bigger and iron because it means the strength of the department to serve in an encounter and commitment and preparation in life.
the group began on July 2, 2003 in Vivaldi land they planned to do church in the colony a revolution in Hermosillo, Sonora. This day featured some of the coordinators who had started with the group in the expiatory church Jecs because they had called to serve on the group, but on arrival found only 6 people, but still continued with the group. as time passed more people started to arrive but still very few. The meeting was held from 4 to December 7, 2003 in Maria Auxiliadora in Hermosillo, Sonora, attended by 28 young people to experience and after Jecs there began to grow in quality and quantity, later moved to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and today are working to have the group in the Temple of the Divine Child Parish addition.
as time goes Jecs has grown in spiritual quality and quantity, much has been learned to work together and there are still some people who are remembered for their work in the group and what they have learned to leave, who have worked with humility because everything has been done by God, for God and with God because without Him none of this had happened.
handling objectives Jecs group are:
1 .- youth Evangelization: the first thing first evangelization, which conosca God and the gospel to put it into practice
2 .- provide a better quality of life in the young: based on the issues that are at general meetings of the group already lived in the meeting is a proposal for a better life by being with God. 3 .-
the young man is the bearer of good testimony of life: if it comes to the group and likes should behave according to the place in which this and dress according to where it is, because it would be inconsistent to want follow God you have a look rebellious and bad behavior. 4 .-
wake up and support in priestly vocations and / or religious not all will come out as priests or religious, but would not be bad, but it is the case that someone will like what this is living in the group and is interested in following up and calling, and here in the group supports these deciciones.
5 .- achieve not only a quantity but also a good quality of life in the group: as concerns and gain more experience to prepare for professional life as a person or in the future, and invite many more young to join the group for this he grows more.
6 .- find the need the youth in other communities: is to look for communities where you see the need for youth to form the group and make another Jecs !!!... x)
